Sony's November Plus Lineup Is Three Claims but Five Full Games
PlayStation Plus members will technically collect five free games when the November monthly lineup goes live on Tuesday, November 3. Sony confirmed the trio on the PlayStation Blog on October 28: Dead Island 2 (PS5, PS4), Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered (PS5, PS4), and Monster Train 2 (PS5). All three can be claimed from November 3 through November 30. Because the Tomb Raider package bundles three complete titles, three store claims deliver five playable games, as ScreenRant and GameRant both counted it.
The lineup is consistent across Sony's announcement and every outlet's reporting. It mixes a big zombie action RPG, a classic action-adventure remaster collection, and a roguelike deckbuilder. Unlike the Extra and Premium catalog, where games expire when they rotate out, these monthly redemptions stay in members' libraries as long as the subscription lasts.
The "five games" math comes entirely from the Tomb Raider bundle. It contains Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, all remastered with the option to swap between original polygonal graphics and the new look at any time. Two standalone titles plus three games inside the collection make five.
Dead Island 2 is the month's heavyweight: a visceral zombie-slaying action RPG set in a ruined Los Angeles dubbed "HELL-A" by developer Dambuster Studios. Players take on the role of bitten-but-immune slayers uncovering the outbreak's truth, solo or in three-player co-op. Coverage from The Independent and GameSpot highlights its brutal close-quarters melee combat as the main draw.
Monster Train 2, the only PS5-only title of the three, is a roguelike deckbuilder about defending a train across three vertical floors. Fallen angels and demons team up against the Titans who seized Heaven, battling through Hell, Heaven, and the Abyss across clan decks and card synergies. Notebookcheck notes its Daily Challenges, Dimensional Challenges, train customization, expanded Logbook, and endless mode for replay value.
All Plus members across every tier can claim the monthly games, not just Essential subscribers. Two of the three support PS4, so last-generation owners are covered except for Monster Train 2. Anyone who redeems by November 30 keeps access while subscribed.
Two dates matter next. October's games, F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, must be claimed by November 2 before the rotation. Then a wave of Extra and Premium catalog additions, still unrevealed, is expected around November 17, alongside scheduled catalog departures, giving higher-tier subscribers a second November event to watch.
