Decode News AI is run by one independent publisher. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have. Effective date: November 2, 2026.
Analytics: we use Google Analytics (GA4) to count page visits and learn what readers like. Ads: we show Google AdSense ads; Google may use cookies to serve and measure ads. Visitors in the EU and similar regions see a consent banner first, and ads are personalized or non-personalized according to your choice. View counts: per-article reader counts are anonymous tallies, not linked to any identity. Comments and feedback: nicknames, contact details, and messages you submit in the discussion area or on the Feedback page are used to display comments and handle feedback. Local preferences: day/night theme and text size live only in your own browser's localStorage and are never uploaded. We have no accounts, collect no emails, phone numbers, or addresses, and sell no data.
This site and Google advertising/analytics services use cookies. On your first visit (depending on region) you will see a consent banner where you can accept or decline; the site reads fine either way, with non-personalized ads when you decline. You can clear this site's cookies in your browser at any time to choose again.
The site is hosted and served by Cloudflare Pages; view counts live in a Supabase database; comments and feedback live in a Cloudflare database. Google handles analytics and ad data under its own privacy policy.
Wherever you are — the EU, California, or elsewhere — you may ask to see, correct, or delete data about you (such as your comments), or to restrict processing. Contact us via the Feedback page (linked in the footer of every page) describing your request, and we will verify and handle it.
This site is for general readers and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you find such information was collected by mistake, contact us and we will delete it.
This page is updated whenever our data practices change, with a new effective date. Major changes are announced on the home page.
